Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot
Big Guy and Rusty began as a two-issue comic by Frank Miller and Geof Darrow, which led to a handful of guest appearances by the Big Guy in other comics, as well as a wonderful animated series that unfortunately, never really got the chance to take off (it and several other series were taken off the air by Fox Kids after only the first few episodes initially aired--collateral damage during their vicious ratings war against Pokemon at the time). The series was recently taken back off the shelf, dusted off, and put back on the air in early 2001, finally allowing fans to see all of the 26 episodes that were made. As of July 2002, the show is part of the ABC Family channel's lineup of Fox Kids cartoons.
The rest of the site is still in the works, but since I've been taking so long getting it done, here's a treat for fans of the show: Wallpaper-sized images that were available at one time on Sony's official site for the show, but disappeared shortly after the initial cancellation, and were never put back online. Most of these are model sheet type design images, the kind that the animators use for reference when drawing the characters, vehicles, and locations. Enjoy!
